Athletic injuries

I came to AcuSkin Wellness few months ago with a very skeptical heart.

I wasn’t sure about the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment and wander if it would work.  I am a college track coach at Rice University and I have extensive knowledge and experience with athletic injuries and problems.

When I met with Christina Sue, she put me at ease. Her courteous and professional manner brought me to trust her and she helped me understand the philosophy of oriental medicine. She exhibits a great understanding of the human body and shows concern for the patient. Christina Sue made me feel relaxed and warm in her care. I’ve been to a lot of doctors and therapists in my career in athletics, and Christina Sue ranks near the top as a knowlegable, skilled professional who has a true passion for her work.

I compliment on her work and I will continue for her to treat me in the future.  I would highly recommend her to anyone, my colleagues, athletes, friends and family. The work she has done is “a miracle”;because I have no pain!

Frozen Shoulder for over 12 years

I’m a patient of AcuSkin Wellness Center, who has been suffering from the Frozen shoulder for over 12 years.  I have tried all kinds of treatments, acupunctures, chiropractors, massages, physical therapies and Chinese medicines.  But nothing could help me much until I met Christina Sue in AcuSkin Wellness Center.

Since I saw Christina, the situation has been improved a lot.  Christina always very carefully finds the pain points and reduces the pain gradually and effectively.  It’s amazing that she knows where exactly my pain points is; no one can find and treat me at that time. I came to Cristina, after her treatments, I can work normally and also I can have better sleeping quality.

Chronic Low Back Pain

I have chronic low back pain,  currently seeing Christina, she is a miracle worker treating chronic low back pain.  I only had 3 treatments so far and my back pain is 90% better with no shooting pain!

Neck Pain

Tendonitis

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

After almost one year of dealing with the bureaucracy and inefficiencies of the worker compensation system, I gave up on it and decided to take control of my health: this is when I started my treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with Christina, I noticed improvement s since the first session, the pain diminished gradually, and I didn’t need to take anti-inflammatory medicines to control the pain.  The strength of my hands improved in a way that today I can do everything that I couldn’t do a year ago.

Arthritis

Headache

I saw Christina because I had a very bad headache several years.  My head hurt so bad that I can hardly put my head on the pillow.  Any kind of pressure on my head such as putting my head on my pillow, or movement of my eyes would cause pain. 

I took pain killer medicine for years, and it didn't help that much.  I went to received Christina treatment by acupuncture for headache pain.  Within first treatment, my headache was about 2/3 gone.  I was amazed.  The treatment lasted for about 40 minutes.  At the end of the session I had no pain.  I am now 2 weeks out and I still have not pain.  I would highly recommend seeing Christina for Acupuncture treatment.

Shoulder pain

I developed a sharp pain in my left arm, along with pins and needles to the tips of my fingers aggravated by computer use.  I ended up trying to do my electronic charting at work using only my right hand.  A co-worker, who had suffered a back injury and had undergone acupuncture, introduced me to Christina.
